Privacy and your data

Veyragram never asks for your name, email address or phone number. That makes you pseudonymous, not anonymous.

What others can see#

  • Your wallet address, by everyone you talk to and members of rooms you join. Anything your wallet has done on Solana is public.
  • Your display name, profile photo, bio and @username, if you set them, by people signed in to Veyragram who chat with you or look you up. Edit them under My profile (side menu).
  • That you are in a room, by its other members.
  • In the official Veyragram group, everything is public to all members.

You can stop people from finding you by address under Settings → Privacy → Findable by wallet address. A username is different: choosing one lets anyone find you by it, so leave it empty if you don’t want that.

What the server can see#

The server cannot read your encrypted messages or files. It does see, and stores:

  • your wallet address, devices and their public keys, and your sessions;
  • who is in which conversation, and when messages are sent and how large they are;
  • your IP address when you connect, used for rate limiting (Cloudflare, which hosts Veyragram, also handles it as part of serving the site);
  • your Telegram account, if you link it (never shown to other members);
  • whether you meet a room’s or Premium’s holdings requirement (not your balance);
  • the content of Telegram bot chats and of the official group, which are not end-to-end encrypted;
  • reports you send, which contain only the messages you chose.

How long things are kept#

Data Kept
Messages and files The conversation’s retention period, set by its owner (default 30 days)
Telegram bot chat messages 30 days
“Joined” posts in the official group 30 days, or until you remove them
Sessions Up to 30 days after they end
Security records (sign-ins, device changes, moderation) 180 days
Daily backups of the database Up to 30 days

After deletion, data can remain in backups until they expire.

In your browser#

Veyragram stores in this browser: your device keys (encrypted), your session cookies, your theme and display preferences, and unsent drafts (unencrypted, optional). It uses no advertising or analytics cookies and no third-party trackers.

Download your data#

Settings → Your data → Download my data saves a JSON file with everything the server holds about your account: profile, wallet, devices, sessions, memberships, blocks, Telegram link, Premium status and payments, Telegram bot chats, and a list of the messages you sent (dates only; the server can’t read their text). Secrets such as session keys are left out.

Delete your account#

Settings → Your data → Delete account deletes your account immediately. This can’t be undone.

  • Deleted: your profile, wallet link, devices, sessions, memberships, blocks, Telegram link, Premium status and payment records, Telegram bot chats, and your “joined” post.
  • The messages and files you sent are deleted for everyone.
  • Rooms you own stay open for their members, without an owner.
  • Not reachable: copies others saved, screenshots, Telegram messages already delivered, and payments recorded on Solana. Database backups expire within 30 days.

You can sign up again later with the same wallet; it starts as a new, empty account.
